Practices: We practice five days a week, Monday through Friday. While not required, we encourage swimmers to attend at least 3 times per week.

April 14 - June 6 (times are tentative)

June 9 - July 18 (times are tentative)

* note swim practice the week of July 14 is for those swimmers that quality for Swim Finals on Saturday, July 19th

Registration: Early Bird Summer registration opens on March 1, 2025. We welcome Residents and Non-Residents of the Newport Hills Community Association (Phase II), with priority registration for returning families and residents.

Swim Meets: Our competitive season begins with an intrasquad meet [Pentathlon] followed by three home meets and three away meets. We also have League Relays and League Finals for qualifying swimmers. The Newport Hills Swim Team is part of the South Coast Swim Conference (SCSC), with six participating teams.

Age & Skill Requirements: Swimmers must be at least 4 years of age and under 18 years of age by June 1, 2025. New swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards) independently. 

Volunteer Requirements: Our team cannot be successful without our families! Following registration, each family will sign up to support activities that take place during swim meets or other events. Each family is required to complete 4 volunteer sessions (registration for volunteer positions begins on April 30). During registration, you can pay to opt out completely from volunteering for the season, we know coordinating your swimmers and volunteering can be tricky and for the first time, we are offering this option to make your summer season easier to coordinate!
